Amen.
Reflection
He washed their feet.
He shared his food.
He was angry, anxious, desperate, in tears.
Then he stood up, dusted himself down, full of resolve.
He knew what had to be done.

Words of Institution and communion
In the night
In which he was betrayed
Our Lord Jesus took bread,
Gave thanks;
Broke it,
And gave it to his disciples,
Saying:
Take and eat;
This is my body, given for you.
Do this in remembrance of me. (We eat the bread together)
Again, after supper,
He took the cup,
Gave thanks,
And gave it to his disciples,
Saying:
Take and drink;
This is the new covenant in my blood,
Given for you and for all people for the forgiveness of sin.
Do this in remembrance of me. (We drink the wine together)
